This Popular Training Advice Is Wrong, Here’s Why…

“Diet is more important than training” We’ve all heard this popular training advice right? “Getting in shape is 70% diet and 30% workouts” If it wasn’t 70% it was some other made up number about nutrition, explaining why it is so much more important than training. I disagree. Training is FAR more important than diet, and I have four good reasons to say that.

1. It’s more fun, by FAR. If you’re not having fun with your training, DM me, email me, Tweet me…..we need to fix that.

2. Training is empowering. It’s empowering like not much else on the planet. It’s a powerful feeling and helps you grow as a person in every aspect of your life.

3. Training creates a ton of forward momentum. Momentum is the name of this entire game. Nothing creates it like hard training.

4. Training creates motivation for your diet. Yes, diet is extremely important when it comes to getting results but when people focus their efforts on training, the diet cleans itself up with just a little effort. This is because you’re having fun, you’re empowered and you have a ton of momentum. You want to fuel your body, enhance your workouts and dominate in the gym.

This doesn’t work the other way around.
